R。J。 really likes to keep us on her feet with the books， and I adore the world she builds in them。 In Sand Piper we get to follow Piper， a young dream walker， through her mentorship with the sandman， and through the life of Lyra， a kind soul that was created many many years ago。 I loved every single second of this book and liked that it wasn't quite as fast paced as book 35。 It was still fast， but not in a way that felt rushed， rushed in a way that felt organic， in way that you'd expect a world R。J。 really likes to keep us on her feet with the books， and I adore the world she builds in them。 In Sand Piper we get to follow Piper， a young dream walker， through her mentorship with the sandman， and through the life of Lyra， a kind soul that was created many many years ago。 I loved every single second of this book and liked that it wasn't quite as fast paced as book 35。 It was still fast， but not in a way that felt rushed， rushed in a way that felt organic， in way that you'd expect a world wide crisis to be rushed。 I am also just beyond happy to finally get more information about Piper， one of the only zoo kids we've seen basically nothing about。 And I lived for all the little moments between Piper and Bear， those two are one of the cutest couples。An amazing book， as always。 Well done， Ms。Ross。 。。。more

One of the most loved characters， but one that we knew almost nothing about。  Piper is one of the zoo kids， that means she  spent some time in captivity， and as the others， she has a few traumas to overcome。  Now she is starting her graduation gig， but even if she decided a long time ago that she would be one of Santa's Elves， it looks like there are bigger plans for her。I love how complicated the whole family deal is in this series， between blood relationships and adopted and chosen ones， it's One of the most loved characters， but one that we knew almost nothing about。  Piper is one of the zoo kids， that means she  spent some time in captivity， and as the others， she has a few traumas to overcome。  Now she is starting her graduation gig， but even if she decided a long time ago that she would be one of Santa's Elves， it looks like there are bigger plans for her。I love how complicated the whole family deal is in this series， between blood relationships and adopted and chosen ones， it's like they are all one big family。  Some of the kids might feel like they are alone， but it turns out that they all have a lot of people supporting them as family。  Like all the other zoo kids， Piper's past turns out to be rather complicated， but once the truth comes to the light， a lot is explained and everything falls into place。  I love  how neat and nice everything turns to be。    I like to see how all the characters that we met with the first few books， are now mature and ready to go and have their own meaningful lives。 It's great to see the character development， and I love meeting new characters as much as getting to know the old ones better。 This is a series that I will definitely not going to stop reading any time soon。 。。。more
